The short version

Your photos and videos are used only to create the effect you asked for. We never use them to train AI models, never sell them and never use them for anything else.
Uploaded photos and videos are automatically deleted from our servers after 7 days. Finished effects are rendered and saved on your phone.
We do not identify people in your media. We do not use facial recognition.
You can delete your account and data at any time from the app.

1. Who we are

FFERDI (the “App”) is operated by Muharrem Batuhan Çeri, an individual developer based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Who can use FFERDI

FFERDI is intended only for people who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

3. What we collect and why

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, microphone recordings or any media you do not choose to upload.

4. How your photos and videos are processed

You pick a photo or video in the App. It is uploaded to our secure storage.
Our servers analyse it to find body pose points, people and depth, so the effect can follow the right person or surface.
The results are sent back to your phone. The final effect is rendered on your device and saved where you choose.
The uploaded file is automatically and permanently deleted after 7 days.

This analysis only locates shapes and positions in the image. It does not identify who a person is, and we do not create face templates, voiceprints or any other biometric identifiers.

Your media is never used to train or improve AI models, never shared for anyone else's purposes, and never used for any purpose other than producing the effect you requested.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the App, under contracts that require them to protect it:

Amazon Web Services (EU — Frankfurt, Germany): hosting, storage, account authentication.
Apple and Google: app distribution and subscription payments. Payments are handled entirely by them under their own privacy policies.
RevenueCat, Inc. (USA): managing subscription status across devices.
Google AdMob (free plan only): showing ads. Google may act as an independent controller for ad personalization — see how Google uses data from partner apps.

We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.

6. International transfers

Your data is stored in the European Union. Some providers listed above are located in the United States, and we operate from Türkiye. Where data leaves the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised by the European Commission, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep data

Uploaded photos and videos: 7 days, then automatically deleted.
Data derived from your media: used only while preparing your effect; not kept beyond the 7-day window.
Account, usage and subscription data: for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, it is deleted within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, for tax or accounting purposes).
Server logs: a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted.

8. Ads and your choices

Free plan users see ads; Max subscribers do not. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, the App asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time in the App. On iOS, the App only uses your advertising identifier if you allow tracking when asked. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party trackers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
correct inaccurate data;
delete your data (you can delete your account directly in the App — see Delete account);
restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
data portability;
withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that happened before;
lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

US residents: depending on your state, you may have the right to know, access, correct and delete your personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data. You can opt out of personalized ads as described in section 8. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any right, email support@fferdi.com from the address linked to your account. We respond within 30 days.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored with access controls. Uploads and downloads use short-lived, signed links. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the App before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
