Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Muharrem Batuhan Çeri, an individual developer based in Türkiye (“we”, “us”), who operates the FFERDI mobile application (the “App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
• Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to get extra free credits is not allowed.

2. The service

The App lets you apply visual effects to photos and videos you choose. Some processing happens on our servers and the final effect is rendered on your device. We may add, change or remove effects and features over time.

3. Plans

• Credits. One credit is used each time you start a new effect session with a new photo or video (when the studio finishes preparing it). Within that session you can adjust settings and export again at no extra cost. If preparation fails, the credit is returned.
• Your remaining credits and the date they reset are shown in the App. Unused credits do not carry over.
• Fair use. “Unlimited” means normal personal use. To protect the service, we may apply a reasonable daily limit to automated, excessive or abusive use.
• Maximum video quality also depends on your source file and on what your device can encode.

4. FFERDI Max subscriptions

• FFERDI Max is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the App before you buy, including any applicable taxes.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings (the App's “Manage or cancel subscription” button takes you there). After you cancel, you keep Max until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Deleting your FFERDI account or the App does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your store account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• If we change the price, the store will notify you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent.

If you live in the EU/EEA or the UK, you have statutory consumer rights, including rights regarding digital content and services. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

5. Your content

• You own your photos, videos and the effects you create.
• You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to store and process your uploads only to provide the App to you. This permission ends when the content is deleted (uploads are deleted after 7 days).
• We do not use your content to train AI models or for any other purpose.
• You confirm that you have all rights needed to upload your content, and that every person who appears in it has agreed to be recorded and to have effects applied.

6. What you must not do

You must not use the App to upload or create content that:

• shows anyone without their consent, or shows a person under 18 in any sexual or harmful context;
• is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, harassing or illegal;
• infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• impersonates someone or is meant to deceive or defraud (for example, fake police or emergency scenes presented as real).

You also must not remove or hide the watermark on free-plan exports, work around plan limits, reverse engineer or interfere with the App or our servers, or use bots or automated tools to access the service.

7. Our rights

The App, its effects, designs, code and brand are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put other users or the service at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why. Sections 5 (ownership), 7, 9, 10 and 11 continue to apply after termination.

9. Disclaimers

We work hard to keep the App reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. Effects are creative and may not always look the way you expect. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of your original photos and videos.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in its courts.

12. Apple App Store

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual property claims). If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the App before it takes effect. If you continue using the App after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using the App and delete your account.
